Danish radio reports that Michael Rasmussen left CSC-Tiscali in 2002 because the team suspected him of blood doping. Days before the Tour of Lucca, the team doctor took Rasmussen’s blood and found irregularities. As a result, Rasmussen was not allowed to start.
