Floyd Landis two-year doping suspension upheld, stripped of Tour de France title

Floyd Landis has lost his appeal before the American Arbitration Association to overturn the sanction imposed by the US Anti-Doping Agency arising out of a positive drug test during the Tour de France 2006. Landis continues to maintain that he is innocent. He even wrote a book called “Positively False: The Real Story of How I Won the Tour de France.” He is officially suspended for two years and will probably be stripped of his Tour de France 2006 title. Landis has been stripped of his Tour de France 2006 title. The official winner of the 2006 Tour is Oscar Pereiro.
