If you’re running low on cash and want to read the classics such as The Complete Essays of Michel de Montaigne, go to Scribd where you can read and download books. People upload other documents such as SEC complaints, court papers, ebooks, instruction manuals and more. I dowloaded Dracula by Bram Stoker and will be reading on a flight tomorrow. Nothing like a bit of Gothic horror to make today’s real horrors – dealing with airport security and flying within the United States – seem trivial, even entertaining. As my fellow passengers grumble about delayed flights, stormy weather, lost luggage and imperious TSA personnel, I’ll be absorbing the Montaigne’s words of wisdom or sinking my teeth into Dracula’s escapades.
